The Opportunity 💭

Youth Arts New Zealand (YANZ) is Aotearoa's leading youth-led social enterprise generating equitable opportunities for rangatahi/young people to explore creativity, both as a career and as a means of self-expression. While in their founding roles as CEO and Operations Manager respectively, Matthew and Harrison built a vibrant site for the organisation that really showed off the organisation’s youthfulness, while presenting a clear social impact story.

What We Did 🪄

The website we built for YANZ positioned their impact story front and centre, with opportunities for YANZ’s community to get involved. It was a huge challenge to step outside of our roles within the organisation to understand how we could communicate our story to the outside world; a journey that significantly helped boost our skills in supporting others to tell their stories.

What We’re Proudest Of 💛

We love how much this site is set up to support future growth of the organisation with different types of pages and template for the future team to choose from. The site refresh also gave us an opportunity to refresh the YANZ brand, incorporating more colour and iconography to reflect the creativity of YANZ’s community. Like many site refreshes, this offered a unique chance to refine the organisation's story and clarity of impact; something we really enjoyed pulling together.
